Event Organizer Handbook

A practical guide to starting and running a tech meetup. Whether there is no meetup in your city, yours stopped running, or you have been attending someone else’s for years and think you could do it yourself, this handbook walks you through every step: picking a name, finding speakers, sponsors, and a venue, running the event itself, and what to do the day after.

The knowledge comes from running RubyMX, a Ruby meetup in Guadalajara, Mexico that started with five people in a coworking space and has been running monthly ever since.
